As a first time delegate to the International Convention one word sums it up best: WOW! From the Tribute to William Lucy Former International Secretary-Treasurer and his very moving and inspiring address; The Tribute to Sen. Ted Kennedy with special guest: Victoria Reggie Kennedy; to the heated, and at times blazing, nominations for Secretary-Treasurer, this was one heck of a convention. Over 50 resolutions were passed providing direction for the next 2 years.
We met with our AFSCME brothers and sisters from all over the country. We also enjoyed the history and sights of Boston.
